Elevator Pitch No. 2

All of the feedback from my last video was positive, so I didn't change much for this one.  I tried to give a little more information on my business model and the capabilities of the app.  One commenter mentioned that there might be a car that sends alerts when you car need maintenance.  OnStar does this, but it is a subscription service, so the user would have to pay monthly for this. My app would do the same thing, but without any cost to the end user. OnStar mainly markets itself as a car safety/security company which may give my app an way into the market.  No other car maintenance app connects directly to the car, they are simply trackers for user input information.

  1. Real solid pitch Kamil. I am a fan of this already! I know that I can go to an Autozone and get a free diagnostic test, but they don't offer the convenience that your app is promising. I definitely see this been sold as a feature in cars. I won't need to be a mechanic to diagnose my car. I would add a feature that links the car's owner with a service or part location. You may have thought of this. Great work!!

  2. Hey, Kamil! This pitch was really awesome! That's a super innovative idea that you came up with and I think that it would do great on the market. I don't really have any suggestions because it was already really good. You were very confident and didn't seem nervous or unsure at all, which is great. Your company pitch focuses on a different sector of the market compared to mine, (feel free to check out my blog on a new dining hall company for the UF meal plan at http://amunozent.blogspot.com/2016/02/elevator-pitch-2.html), but I think you did a great job and many people will get great use out of your car repair service app. Good luck!

  3. Sounds like a great idea. I personally don't like to go to places to check the status of my car unless it's the actual dealer (even them I'm pretty skeptical). Having a third party telling the status of the car without any payments sounds great.
